A SYSTEM OPTIMISED FOR CONSISTENTLY BEST RESULTS

COMBINING SKILL AND TECHNOLOGY

FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction), is the current industry Gold Standard, as per the I.S.H.R.S.

Some brands have slapped manufactured labels claiming to have developed ‘a more advanced technique’ to artificially distinguish themselves.

Unfortunately, this is done to mislead and further confuse the public for marketing purposes.

At FUE Clinics we use only the latest techniques and technologies for the best results.

Read on to learn more.

STEP 1: HIGH QUALITY GRAFTS

FUE EXTRACTION

FUE refers to the extraction of follicles from the ‘donor’ region (typically back and sides of the head).

This is considered the most crucial step in the procedure and determines the quality of the grafts that will be transplanted. Great skill is required for a good, clean, and precise extraction. At FUE Clinics, we implement tight safeguards and quality checks at every step to ensure we get it right every time. See HERE. There is no point in extracting great quantities at high speeds if all the grafts are damaged in the process, leading to poor growth rates.

A recognised alternative to FUE is FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation), an older extraction technique which involves removing a strip of scalp from the donor area. By contrast, FUT is more invasive, and has longer recovery times. Unlike FUE, FUT leaves a linear scar at the back of your head.

STEP 2: PROTECTED & DENSELY PLACED HAIR

DIRECT GRAFT IMPLANTATION

At FUE Clinics, our goal is to implement the safest, and protected implantation for the best results.

We have expertise in using implanter pens, which allow for extremely precise and dense graft placement while improving graft yield and survival (3). Implanter pens achieve this by acting as a splint to guide hair grafts into its place, protecting the hair follicle.

This methodology also ensures minimal graft handling, reducing any incidental follicular damage, and maximising graft survival.

In contrast, clinics that implant grafts with forceps alone may reduce costs, but at the expense of increased graft handling. This thereby increases likelihood of follicular damage and impaired growth rates.

PROVEN RESULTS

Hair transplants are a proven, permanent solution to hair loss. Studies and clinical trials consistently show high success rates for hair transplants, when performed by experienced doctors (1).

The follicles sourced from this donor region are inherently resistant to balding. Upon transplantation to the recipient site, they continue to retain these characteristics.

New transplanted hair will:

  • Continue to have natural growth

  • Continue to have resistance to hair loss (2)

The greatest benefit being that it’s your own real, growing hair that you can wash, cut, and do whatever you want with.

FUE Clinics take all facets of your hair transplant seriously.

As with all surgery, the quality of outcomes depend on a variety of factors including the skill of the practitioner, the quality checks during the procedure, the patient's overall health, donor hair quality, and good post-operative care.

Do your research thoroughly before making a decision.

WHAT DOES THE SCIENCE SAY?

Studies and clinical trials consistently show high success rates for FUE hair transplants, especially when performed by experienced doctors (1). The results are not just about adding more hair; they are about restoring a natural, aesthetic appearance that aligns with your unique features (4).

Patient satisfaction is a crucial metric in evaluating the success of any medical procedure, and hair transplants are no exception. Many patients who have undergone FUE procedures report not only a significant improvement in their hair density but also an enhanced sense of self-confidence and well-being (5).

It's important to have realistic expectations and understand that the full results may take several months to become apparent. Hair growth is a gradual process, and as the transplanted follicles establish themselves in the recipient area, you'll notice a fuller head of hair.
